We departed on our month long adventure! Our plan: have breakfast in the hotel, lunch at a local establishment, and dinner in our hotel room. Maps, tour books, suitcases (too many), electronics, a pantry and a portable 12- volt refrigerator are all loaded in our mini-van.
We had many errands to run before hitting the road, like banking, getting pedicures (must have pretty toes), and hair appointments (must be spiffy going across country), and after a late start we spent the night in Gainesville, Florida. Albuquerque or Bust!!
