Day Twenty-Eight

We sleep okay but not great. Must be the anticipation of getting back home OR the Time Zone change!  After breakfast we pile our stuff in the car – gas up – and take off.  I-75 is very busy and not like the East-West routes we have been taking for the last 4 weeks.  A lot of truck traffic – and limited rail systems.

Another cloudy day with rain in the forecast.

As we leave the Ocala area we notice some cattle and horse ranches and it is hilly here – for Florida.  Mostly uneventful with a few intermittent showers – but our new windshield wipers are working fine.

  More mobile homes headed south.

We are back in Englewood after a month away.  Time to do all those mundane things –  go to the bank, get the car washed, and grab a sandwich.  We so don’t want to unpack the car – but some things need to make it into the house.  Like Pepsi!

The trip is over and the last cookie is eaten.  We need to reflect on this amazing trip.  Maybe tomorrow!
